Hear A PERFECT CIRCLE’s stunning surprise song “Starless”Just ahead of A Perfect Circle’s European tour launch, the magnetic alt-metal veterans have delivered their shimmering first single of 2026, “Starless.” The new song follows APC’s “Kindred” off 2024’s Sessanta E.P.P.P. It was written earlier this year before being recorded by the band at guitarist Billy Howerdel’s Lankershim Ranch Studio in Studio City, California. He co-mixed it with Matty Green (U2, Florence + the Machine, TV on the Radio), and longtime collaborator Josh Freese (Nine Inch Nails, Foo Fighters) returned to the fold to play drums. “Some songs get kicked around and massaged for years,” Howerdel said in a statement. “But once in a while, one takes shape quickly, as if it had been there all along.” Vocalist Maynard James Keenan says he’s “chuffed to debut this new track on stage in the U.K.,” noting that while he’s stoked to issue the studio version, APC songs “always take on an expanded personality once we start playing them live.” Guided by an ominous lurch, and featuring Keenan s vocalizations around power hungry figures and finding a path forward with one s moral compass, you can stream Starless through the visualizer up above. Notably, “Starless” will also be issued on a one-sided 7-inch vinyl single, which features an etching of the APC crescents on the B-side. Pre-orders for exclusive pressings on “Silver Black A-Side/B-Side” and “White with Sea Blue Black Splatter” wax (limited to 1,000 each) are up now in Revolver’s shop. Both variants are foil-numbered, and they ll come with a custom-branded A Perfect Circle 45-adapter. As for A Perfect Circle’s upcoming European tour, the band’s first in eight years, that begins June 3rd for the first of two sold-out nights at London’s O2 Academy Brixton.More date info on that run — as well as APC and Puscifer’s late 2026 trek through Mexico, South America and Japan — can be found here.
