Coming off the surprise launch of Deafheaven’s exquisitely savage At Work in the Fields of the Bomb EP, the blackgaze phenoms have announced a 2027 stretch of tour dates with friends and collaborators Interpol. News of the tag-team dates between the metal and post-punk factions was announced earlier today (October 22nd), and it all begins March 16th at New Orleans, Louisiana’s Saenger Theatre. All told, it’s a eight-date run that concludes March 27th at the Starland Ballroom in Sayreville, New Jersey. Notably, the tour could be ripe with onstage collaborations, as Interpol frontman-guitarist Paul Banks had contributed vocals to “Incidental III” off Deafheaven’s Lonely People With Power album from 2025. Here’s hoping! A pre-sale begins next Wednesday (October 28th) at 10 a.m. local, while tickets become available to the general public that Friday (October 30th). You’ll find Deafheaven’s updated tour schedule, including an Atlanta, Georgia-area show with Mastodon tonight and their appearance at this weekend’s Sick New World event in Fort Worth, Texas, down below.
