Pantera are headlining their inaugural "The Great NOLA Trendkill" festival, taking place November 20 and 21 in New Orleans, Louisiana.

Pantera are making their way back to NOLA, with the current iteration of the groove-metal masters set to headline a new two-day festival in New Orleans, Louisiana called “The Great NOLA Trendkill.” Better yet, the lineup also feature brothers-in-arms Down, Corrosion of Conformity, Black Label Society, Crowbar and more. The fest is set to go down November 20th and 21st at the Lakefront Arena in New Orleans, Louisiana, and it will mark Pantera’s first show in the area since their promo run behind The Great Southern Trendkill in 1996. The new festival name obviously pays homage to that record, as well as NOLA, the iconic 1994 debut from stoner-sludge supergroup Down — which features Pantera vocalist Philip Anselmo and bassist Rex Brown, as well as Corrosion of Conformity’s Pepper Keenan and Crowbar’s Kirk Windstein. Additionally, the metal fest will feature performances from friends and associated acts including Power Trip, Eyehategod, Pig Destroyer, Rāde, and Herakleion. “ To be back in New Orleans with such a package of bands and events is a dream come true,” Pantera and Down vocalist Anselmo says in a statement. “Besides Pantera and Down, we have great NOLA and national bands playing, Housecore Records and Housecore Horror specialties, horror industry personalities, talented artists, and so much more. Please come down to my hometown and have a blast the entire weekend!” Pre-sales for the event are already live, while general ticket sales begin this Friday (September 11th) at 11 am ET.
