To complement their newly unveiled eighth studio album "Social Apocalypse".

Bullet for My Valentine have announced a new album called 'Social Apocalypse,' sharing its title track today.

The apocalypse is upon us, and it arrives via Bullet for My Valentine. The Welsh metal veterans just announced that an album called Social Apocalypse comes out in 2027, though they delivered the title track to streamers today (September 24th). “Social Apocalypse” is the band’s first new song in four years. The song has vocalist-guitarist Matt Tuck sending out “a call to the lost and forgotten”. It addresses “the end of the world as we know it,” while suggesting we resist the “chaos” going on around us. “Everything in life is changing at such a rapid pace, and it is hard to find a great deal of positivity when you look at events in the world,” Tuck said in a statement. “People are being pitted against each other. The world is full of conflict instead of unity. As a father, I look at what the world is like for younger people, and how completely different it is now.” Sonically, BFMV mix melodic groove, a bit of breakbeat twitchiness and tuneful rasping to get the point across. You’ll find them anchoring into the world-weary heaviness via the music video up above. Social Apocalypse, which follows a self-titled release from 2022, was recorded alongside producer Carl Brown (Sleep Token, Malevolence). The album features guest spots from Against The Current vocalist Chrissy Costanza (“In the Absence of You”) and Lorna Shore’s Will Ramos, who reportedly popped off a “a hair-raising vocal turn” on “I Don’t Trust Tomorrow.” The new album is due out March 19 via Spinefarm. You can pre-save it here. Bullet for My Valentine also have a European tour on deck for early 2027. You’ll find the date details here.
