Doom-metal dragonauts Sleep are back but they look a little different. Guitarist Matt Pike, also of High on Fire, is no longer in the band, leaving vocalist-bassist Al Cisneros as the sole remaining OG member. Replacing Pike in Sleep s current lineup is Bubba Dupree, of the seminal D.C. hardcore band Void, while the Melvins very busy Dale Crover takes over drum duties.⁠ Thusly reconfigured, the stoner-rock legends just surprise-released a new single, Have Spacesuit Will Travel, announced a big fall North American tour, and released the first issue of the Sleep Comic Book, written by Cisneros.⁠ The vibe of the first jam was obvious, he commented of Have Spacesuit Will Travel.
