Tetrarch guitarist Diamond Rowe crushed out Metallica’s “Enter Sandman” for NFL fans at Atlanta, Georgia’s Mercedes-Benz Stadium over the weekend, walking on the field to riff through the iconic metal anthem while joined by Atlanta Falcons mascot Freddie Falcon. The walk-on performance took place Sunday night (October 11th) during a game between the home-team Falcons and the Baltimore Ravens. Ahead of the game, the Tetrarch guitarist noted in an Instagram post that this was a full circle moment for her. While currently based in Los Angeles, California, she grew up in Atlanta. She added that Metallica are “the band that made me want to pick up a guitar at 12 yrs old.” Last year, she caught Metallica’s M72 Tour when it rolled through Mercedes-Benz Stadium. So, when the NFL recently came calling to ask her to perform a heavy-hitter for Falcons fans, she knew which stadium-sized metal song to pick. “WE DID IT. We brought heavy music to NFL Sunday Night Football,” she began in another Intagram post. “When the Falcons came to me and asked me to suggest some songs that would be recognizable and bring some serious energy to the stadium, there was one band that instantly came to mind… Metallica. The band that made me fall in love with heavy music and inspired me to pick up a guitar in the first place. “To have the opportunity to pay homage to who I consider the greatest band of all time, in a STADIUM felt extremely fitting and was an absolute honor.” She added of the experience: “I’ve dedicated my entire life to this instrument. Countless hours practicing, years of grinding, taking risks, making sacrifices, and chasing a dream that many (most I can still call by name) told us was impossible. But we continue to shatter those glass ceilings and moments like this remind me exactly why I’ve never once thought about quitting.” You can check out Rowe hoisting Hetfield-ian riffs in the endzone up down below. Tetrarch’s last album was 2025’s The Ugly Side of Me. No live dates on deck at the moment. As for Metallica, they’re currently undertaking their residency at the Sphere in Las Vegas, Nevada, which runs into 2027.
