Murderdolls are back, and set to perform their first show in close to a decade. Earlier today (November 6th), both Murderdolls vocalist Wednesday 13 and the family of band’s late guitarist (and former Slipknot drummer) Joey Jordison confirmed through their socials that the horror-punk outfit will be getting back together for a performance at next year’s Graspop Metal Meeting in Dessel, Belgium. “We’re excited to announce that Murderdolls have officially joined the lineup for Graspop Metal Meeting 2027,” the Jordison family posted, with Wednesday 13’s Instagram notice simply reading: “Murderdolls… coming 2027.” The accompanying teaser video includes a short clip of “Slit My Wrist,” the first track off the band’s 2002 debut album, Beyond the Valley of the Murderdolls. Notably, that record will celebrate its 25th anniversary in 2027. It’s unclear at present if this is a one-off or part of a broader reunion campaign. Regardless, the appearance at next year’s Graspop Metal Meeting — which takes place June 17th-20th — will be the first time the group have performed in public together since 2018. It will also notably be the band’s first show since Jordison’s passing in 2021. Valley-era drummer Ben “the Ghoul” Graves passed away in 2018. It’s as-yet unknown who will be in the latest Murderdolls lineup. Pre-sales for the fest begin next Thursday (November 12th), while the general on-sale is the following Saturday (November 14th). Other acts revealed so far include Evanescence, Marilyn Manson, Faith No More, blink-182, Mötley Crüe, Parkway Drive and more. More fest info can be found here.
