Hear ELECTRIC CALLBOY’s new song with THE OFFSPRING’s DEXTER HOLLAND “Let the Good Times Roll”The powers that be have kept German EDM-metal maniacs Electric Callboy and veteran Cali punks the Offspring separated for far too long. Fortunately for us, the bands have now joined forces for a new collaborative jammer called “Let the Good Time Roll.” The new single is the latest to arrive behind the Callboys’ forthcoming TANZNEID album, and it finds the Teutonic elevator operators twisting through elements of crunched-up guitar heaviness, pop-forward hooks and stylized glowstick electronics. Add to this, the Offspring’s Dexter Holland hops on the cut with his signature tenor to further lift up the arrangement. The Offspring have been one of the bands that shaped us from the very beginning,” the members of Electric Callboy explain in a joint statement. “Their music was part of our lives long before Electric Callboy even existed, so having Dexter on this song honestly feels surreal. Let The Good Times Roll is everything we love about loud, fun and energetic music, and getting to share that with one of our biggest inspirations makes this a really special moment for us.” When Electric Callboy sent us the track, it immediately put a grin on our faces,” Holland adds in his own statement, explaining that he “had a blast” working on the single. “It s energetic, unpredictable and doesn t take itself too seriously — exactly the kind of spirit we ve always loved about punk and rock music.” The song arrives in a new video conceived by Schillobros. and Electric Callboy. As you’ll discover up above, it involves parcel delivery, fast food mishaps, fake moustaches, “Pretty Fly” Offspring easter eggs, deus ex eagle plot twists, outdoor party performances and more. It also features cameos from comedians Howie Mandel, Brian Posehn and Nekrogoblikon vocalist John Goblikon. It s added that the video also launches a global scavenger hunt that could lead to some lucky Electric Callboy fans getting access to all of the band s headlining shows henceforward, for life. The pink boxes that pop up in the Let The Good Times Roll” will also be showing up at festivals and unexpected locations around the world, and those will apparently house clues about upcoming Callboy appearances. Some will hold a Golden Ticket that can get you and a friend into Electric Callboy shows around the globe. Stay tuned for more info, keep your eyes peeled, and take note of the band s upcoming North American show schedule over here. As previously reported, TANZNEID will be releasedAugust 7th via Century Media Records. A pre-order for an exclusive vinyl variant on “Neon Violet” wax has since sold out, but a black wax edition of TANZNEID is currently available in Revolver’s shop.
