Darkest Hour announced their forthcoming LP in July, but today, they've revealed the release date and the new album's title tack.
"This one goes out to anyone who chooses to push and peddle hatred and division, to anyone who would break down others to feed their sadistic, insatiable ego."
Metal juggernauts DARKEST HOUR will release their eleventh studio album, "Suffer Divine", on October 30, 2026. Suffer no longer, Darkest Hour have announced they have a new album on the way. To tease their impending 11th studio full-length, the D.C. metalcore vets just delivered its blistering title track: “Suffer Divine.” The new song is Darkest Hour’s first piece of new music since they released their Perpetual Terminal album in 2024. They quicky lunge into a thrash-intensified pace full of furious riffage and all-teeth, old testament antagonism from vocalist John Henry (“I hope you pay for all that shit that you say”). Their frontman confirms in a statement that “Suffer Divine” is “about justice and accountability.” He continues: “This one goes out to anyone who chooses to push and peddle hatred and division, to anyone who would break down others to feed their sadistic, insatiable ego.” A music video for the ruthless ripper can be found up above. The band noted over Instagram that they’d recently filmed “four incredible music videos,” and added that this is “the most intense, involved, and excited we have even been around music videos.” As for Suffer Divine, the group recorded the 11-song album with producer Mark Lewis (Whitechapel, The Black Dahlia Murder, Cannibal Corpse), and the collection “distills everything Darkest Hour loves about heavy music.” “The result is one blistering album,” adds guitarist Mike Schleibaum. “It’s full of rage, thrash, and aggression but also feels musically dense.” He adds that the album reflects upon suffering, but the album mixes “hope, rage, and empathy.” Suffer Divine is out October 30th via MNRK Heavy. A pre-order for an exclusive vinyl variant on “Burrowing Deep” wax (limited to 300 copies) is available now in Revolver’s shop. Darkest Hour are also bracing themselves for a fall tour with Fear Factory, which launches just after album-release. You’ll find the U.S. date details below.
