Should receiving another album from Ghostemane have been on your personal bucket list, we’ve got some great news for you: The experimental rapper has just announced his first LP since 2020, and he’s teasing the impending AM:FM with a new song called, you guessed it, “BucketList.” AM:FM signals the end of a five-year hiatus for Ghostemane, who last left listeners with the Fear Network II EP in 2021. The new album will be his full-length follow-up to 2020’s ANTI-ICON. As for “BucketList,” it’s a minimalist banger that bring out a trunk-rattling bass boom and haunting minimalist piano hooks. Ghostemane works a tongue-twisting flow and a gravelly-whispered chorus hook about how y’all got him “fucked up.” A video for the new single premieres at noon ET and can be peeped below, along with AM:FM‘s artwork. The album is also confirmed to include Ghostemane’s violently nu-grooved, rapped-and-shouted “Zero Day” single from earlier this year. A full tracklisting has yet to be revealed, but the album is expected to further evolve the rapper’s blend of industrial, hardcore, goth, southern “phonk” and more.
