Limp Bizkit

As we all begin to recover from our weekend candy comas, it’s time to salute the numerous fun-lovin’ players in the heavy scene who dressed up for Halloween this year. The ghouls’ night out was not just for the kids, and a bunch of our favorite rockers, metalheads, punks and pit-starters raided their closets and nearest Spirit’s to find the right set of spooky threads. This year, we saw anyone from Metallica and the Pretty Reckless’ Taylor Momsen, to Paleface Swiss and Jonathan Davis’ mic stand getting into the spirit. Whether they were worn on-stage, backstage or back at home, you’ll find a collection of the heavy world’s most stylish and scariest Halloween costumes below. “M72” season continues into 2027. Earlier today (September 16th), Metallica announced another batch of shows as part of their ongoing “M72 World Tour,” adding a dozen North American pit-stops next spring. The newly-announced stretch of dates will kick off May 8th at Vancouver, B.C.’s BC Place stadium. That’ll be the lone Canadian date, as ‘Tallica boot it down to Texas from there. They’ll run through the Mid-West, then kick out to the East Coast for a show in Buffalo, New York. This particular leg of dates wraps June 19th at Salt Lake City, Utah’s Rice-Eccles Stadium. Notably, these are all one-show experiences for each city, rather than the run of two-date “No Repeat Weekends” ‘Tallica has been staging since the “M72 World Tour” launched in 2023. Joining them on all dates will be nu-daddies Limp Bizkit and recent European tourmates Avatar. Presales begin next Monday (September 21st) at 10 a.m. local time, and the general on-begins that Friday (September 25th) at 10 a.m. local. As previously reported, Metallica still have a number of upcoming U.S. tour dates in 2026. This includes a stretch of sold-out shows at the Sphere in Las Vegas, Nevada, as well as a pair of gigs at Mohegan Sun Arena in Uncasville, Connecticut. They also resume the Sphere residency in early 2027. You’ll find the details on the newly announced spring dates below, while info of all of Metallica’s upcoming North American concerts can be found here.
