Last weekend at Los Angeles, California’s Milkys — the immersive DIY space and sometimes studio of producer Will Yip (L.S. Dunes, Title Fight) — hosted another memorable event: HazFest 2. The brainchild of producer lil aaron’s brand Hazheart, the free festival’s sophomore edition, which was co-presented by Metal Edge, platformed a diverse mix of emerging artists across genres and scenes — while celebrating their eclectic fanbases with just as much enthusiasm. Two stages and a skate ramp drew skaters, emo kids, rappers and everything in-between, an audience truly sourced from all sides of the internet and the city. The crowd spilled in and out of the venue for a lineup featuring Joeyy, Hayley Sakkara, Mizery and more. It was overstimulating to say the least — but in the best of ways. Photographer and Metal Edge editor Dimitry Mak was on hand to capture all the action — check out everything you missed, or relive it, through the photos below. This article was originally published on Alternative Press and has been edited by Revolver.
