And new music from Trivium is on the way.

The Matt Heafy-led band will hit the road in November and December to kick off their 'next era.'

Metal stalwarts Trivium have announced their next crusade, a North American headline tour that will find the quartet premiering songs from a to-be-detailed eleventh album. Better yet, it will find them joined by melodeath vets In Flames, Swedish bruisers Orbit Culture and more. Trivium announced the trip this morning (July 21st), describing the fall tour in press materials as the “unofficial start of Trivium’s next era.” The 32-show tour begins November 5th in St. Petersburg, Florida, and is expected to debut songs from the band’s next full-length — though they delivered the Struck Dead EP in 2025, this will be their first album release since 2021’s In the Court of the Dragon. It’s likewise their first major North American tour with drummer Alex Rüdinger, who joined the group in 2025. In Flames will act as direct support the whole way through, while Frozen Soul — who had Trivium leader Matt Heafy produced their 2023 full-length, Glacial Domination — will be opening each show. Orbit Culture will be on the bill for the first half of the tour, while Fit for an Autopsy take over on the back half of the trip. “This fall’s Trivium tour is a huge one for us,” the band declares. “The lineup is stacked from top to bottom, and we’re honored to have special guests In Flames, who not only influenced our early years but continue to prove time and again why they’re one of the greatest metal bands of all time. “With Orbit Culture, Fit For An Autopsy, and Frozen Soul rounding out the bill, we can’t wait to get out there, kick off this next era of Trivium with Rudi behind the kit, and give you a taste of the new music we’ve been working on.
