Ahead of their Slam Dunk performance on Saturday, Bury Tomorrow have announced their biggest headlining tour to date February 2027.
Teen punks XCOMM are back in the van and skirting themselves through a world of mayhem in the new video for “Pirates,” a song from their forthcoming Time to Burn LP that features a guest verse from experimental rapper Ghostemane. The new song goes for the throat with first-wave hardcore energy and a smidge of crossover shred, whilst vocalist-guitarist Michael Gatto goes hard on the mic about plundering the world and taking everything he sees fit. They slow things down for a creepily-whispered guest spot from Ghostemane — who co-runs XCOMM’s label, Blowed Out Records, along with producer Ross Robinson and Bill Armstrong — but it builds up towards a noisily moshed backend. The vid, directed by Darren Craig, finds XCOMM cruising the streets, kicking pink flamingoes off of peoples’ laws, and getting pulled over by the police. Pennywise guitarist Fletcher Dragge is on-hand to hail the chaos, as do a pair of babies that are both throwing up the horns and flipping the bird to Gatto. “Shooting the Pirates music video was great, Darren Craig killed it and Ross chewed up a pickle and spit it all over my shoes for the video homemade relish,” Gatto said in a statement. “The video captures the intensity that the song was written about. And having Ghostemane feature on the track was mind-blowing.” As previously reported, the 11-song Time to Burn features other recent XCOMM cuts like “Borrowed Time,” “Reasons,” “Fake ID” and “Hot Pursuit / One and Nothing.” The album was made alongside Robinson, who transformed XCOMM “into musical weapons that will blow your head off when you play our record. The album is tomorrow (May 22) via Blowed Out Records. It can still be pre-ordered on exclusive blood red vinyl (limited to 200 copies) in Revolver’s shop.
